Privacy Policy
The short version: this site has no accounts, no checkout, and no newsletter database. We collect as little as a website can.
What we collect
- Nothing account-based. There are no user accounts, logins, comments, or purchases on this site.
- Aggregate analytics. We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console [VERIFY AT LAUNCH — confirm final analytics stack]) to understand which pages are read and which searches find us. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual readers.
- Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message to respond to it. We do not sell email addresses or add contacts to marketing lists.
Cookies
- This site: sets no first-party tracking cookies of its own beyond any set by the analytics tools above.
- Affiliate links: when you click a purchase link, the vendor and its affiliate network set cookies on their domains to attribute the sale (typically up to 60 days). Their privacy policies govern those cookies.
- Your control: browser settings can block or clear cookies at any time; blocking affiliate cookies does not affect your ability to read this site or to buy any product directly from a vendor.
Third parties
This site is served as static pages. Embedded third-party content is kept to a minimum. When you follow any outbound link — to a vendor, a research source, or anyone else — you leave this policy's coverage and enter theirs.
Your rights
Because we hold no accounts and no reader database, there is ordinarily nothing personal for us to produce or delete. If you believe we hold information about you (for example, an email you sent us) and you want it deleted, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes materially — a new analytics tool, a newsletter, anything that increases collection — the change will be posted here with a revised date before it takes effect.
Last updated: at launch [VERIFY AT LAUNCH — set date].
